My wife's been mostly enjoying hers, give or take the odd teething problem/hiccup/possible bug (particularly in Windows Live Messenger, which seems to crash the phone quite a lot).

But the battery life has been a real disappointment: advertised as 329 hours (a fortnight) of standby and 324 minutes (5½ hours) of talk time, they neglect to mention that if you use the phone in the way it's intended, it evidently doesn't count as either talk time or standby and so only gives you less than a day before it needs a charge.

I'm sure you could achieve something approaching a fortnight if you never connected to Facebook or any of the other built-in apps, but given that it's intended to be regularly connected to Facebook at a minimum, and probably other services too, it seems a bit cheeky not to give a realistic battery life figure based on typical usage.

We'd be interested to hear what you make of this aspect of the phone, which has otherwise been pretty good, especially once its built-in browser got replaced with Opera Mini.(Although of course as a Java app this doesn't enjoy some of the integration benefits of the built-in browser, which is a shame. Perhaps INQ could look at getting Opera to build them a proper app for their next phone?)
